Again on London Tubes

Again on London Tube

Again on London Tubes,
intersecting North and South;
after yesteryears of hardship
slowly, creeping, Combining awareness,
you see commuters in London tubes
No romping romance, see struggle
for survival stretching far beyond,
Newspapers fritter of approval.
Yes! You have to mind the gap,
Gap, continuum between Chaucer and poets modern
waking up to days of post modern,
terribly innocent child,
Yet to study the crude world,
Ignorant parent, immersed in creativity,
Alert Trinity in incarnation ,
foraying into a wakeful dawn,
those poking itinerary
Follow you from afar,
You wheel on the London Eye,
Reach a destination beyond
The boundaries of rich galore!
