Warmth ( Guardian- no moose)

Warmth   ( Guardian  No Moose)

 English  countryside,  trees   and  savannas,
Spiraling   woods  and   flowery  branches,
Eventide, breeze   and  warmth of  Nature
Meandering  through    mellifluous   bamboo
Twines   and intertwines.  There is  a  special
Melody   and  warmth  in  sophisticated  touch
Of  your  feel    and  heel. A bungalow    not   too
Far off  clustered  with  blooming   scenario.
My  book  of  poems  fritter  with  the  warmth
Of  my  hand,  my  mood  foraying  into  the
Dense feel of  the pages,  emanating  a special  Warmth

There  is  no   moose  or  deer, nothing  to  remove,
Bits of  discarded  writes  but: negation of  warmth.
Crows    and  cats   play  on  the   grass mounds
Smooth    sail of warmth, by  my   notes:
A bright  light  from  the  bungalow
Glows   with  a  heavenly warmth of  assured  say.

micro poem -- Must on Tower

       Must on  Tower

On  top  of  tower,
looking   below-  humility
and  surrender to Him.

“The rain drops pensively” --- ( Guardian)

The  rain drops  pensively”   --- ( Guardian)

March, Spring ,    Soaring  or boring,
Sunday  comes   inevitable : all of
Us steal  some  time, in the  timelessness
Of   this  Time’s    clandestine  scheme,
To  be one  with   Sunday’s  leisure.
Yet  ongoing    and   perpetual.
The  rain drops   pensively
at  the  sudden  bizarre  events
outside   and  amidst   like
volcano  and   void.
We   chat, draw, sing   and paint
and  all  with  the concurrence   of
Sunday’s  sundial   shine  and  move.
To  undo  our  antipathy   and    beget
New   emblems  with  efficient   spins
and    carve.   Bird  watches  with us
as   if to partake of our chat.

Mountain to mound

Mountain  to  mound.

To  reach  atop, stand
on  the peak, to have
a  spark  and  come  down
and    move in around the
vast world in its full ambiance
to  travel, to  view  and gather
its  faults  and merits ,
to give  a  nod in its
totality   and  grandeur:
to have  a  feel of smallness too,
of  self and  surroundings,
to  cull out  the origin  and
roots  of happenings; the
tall tree   and  flow of river
the  cicadas  and parrots
make you wonder  the emptiness
of  the beings  around –
they  are the  earthen ware
and  clay to  be discarded.
 You  behold  the  sky
You  breathe. A relief in  void.

Micro poem  ( winter)

In the wintry morn
when the windows
are   closed, birds are
cuddled in cosy nests,
 I browse in my warm
 Friend, my unforsaking
 Support, my  Computer.

Snake

                         Snake
Such  Grace  and Divinity  that doth
 Sustain  and   strong   and  many.
Hold!  That permeates  on
Lord Shiva’s  head  down to  His neck .
  Neck  with  the prominent  Snake
 A  stronghold  and depiction  of
 Three  entities  and   Times.

There is a   snake in every woman’s coil
Of looks  if she  be seductive  and  fair
Dangerously  alluring. There  is   a snake
in  grass , glides surreptitious , slithers ;
we   have  come   across  snake charmer too.
I  imagine   Eve’s  and Cleopatra’s  serpents
doing  their assigned   tasks, happy  and victorious.
Now  let me be to  my  orchid
And   dwell  in reading   Serpent   and  Rope.
