Woolly
puppy
Memory gets a
pep up:
This woolly puppy
Swells up from my
memory:
now full
grown, stiff
dog, yet
caring, watchful.
As a puppy
how often,
It had entertained by its
Fond Play,
scratch the photo
Up and down, its master,
Garlanding the square .
A reminder
to the kith
and kin
forgetting and neglecting.
A pat on the woolly
puppy
Is enough
to ward
off
many a sad tale,
of growl and
grump.
